I'm a Nigerian-American artist from the DC area who graduated in 2023 and am looking for a career in n illustration, character design, and Concept Art for animation. I'm currently in grad school for screenwriting, which has contributed to widening my understanding of story development and concept, as well as attaining professional organization, research, and feedback skillfulness. While being an undergraduate, I worked as the Vice President in a student organization called BASE (Black Art Student Empowerment), where I helped facilitate discussions on art and culture within communities of color at the University. I worked as an animator for a promotional video for the comic “Snot Goblins”, created by writer Rob Kutner and visual artist David DeGrand, and later collaborated with them on the Boys and Girls Club of Hollywood as an inker for a comic made by the children of the program. I further worked with students as an Early Literacy Interventionist and later a Visual Art teacher.
